LCB-301 — Carbon Paste for LCD Lead-frame

Carbon Paste for LCD Lead-frame   Carbon Paste LCB-301 is developed for the conduction of metal lead-frame to LCD substrate film. The Paste is printed on to the LCD ITO glass and curing is easily is easily achieved by simple heating in order to get the thermo-plastic type resin binder solidify after the evaporation of the solvents.

Thermo-plastic type resin

Low resistivity, and high conductivity as in the family of carbon ink, and most suitable for the LCD lead-frame application and printed circuit manufacturing.
Excellent adhesiveness to the film of polyester and polyimide.
Superior flexibility and anti-folding character with less change of electric and physical characteristic after folding.
Excellent printability to afford the stable results of 0.4mm pitch (line width and adjacent-line width 0.2mm each).
Good anti-heat and anti humidity resistance give higher reliability.
Drying (curing) conditions are mild under low termperature and shorter period of time; such that the excellent printability be achieved for polyester film which has a limitation because of the temperature to be applied.
Good environmental conditions are kept because of the use of safe solvents with low smell.
Easy handling of one-pot type and longer printing life enable the economical use of the paste with few amount of loss.

Cares to be taken under handling
Perfect evaporation of the solvents must be required to achieve the excellent resuits.
Moderate investigations are requested to be done for the drying(curing) conditions at each apparatus of the user.
The paste must be stirred well enough just before use in the container in order to get the homogeneous viscosity.
The paste has higher viscosity just after opening of the can because of the excellent thixotropic nature for the excellent printing.
Use the specified dilution solvents in case of higher viscosity, though one must be careful not to add excess amount.
In order to achieve the superb printing results it is requested to perform the printing in air conditioned(temperature and humidity controlled) room at 20-25oC
The surface of the board to be printed pattern must be clean and have no pollution with oil etc. which cause the incomplete results.
The thickness of the printed carbon layer results in resistivity of the circuits.
One must select the right combination of the screen-printing conditions such as mesh-number, thickness of the emulsion, gap. squeegee hardness, pressure, speed.
Screen: Stainless or polyester and 150-250 mesh.
Screen Cleaning Solvents: Thinner, acetone.
Good ventilations and caution to fire must be paid.
Keep the paste after use at cold place (10o) with tight seal, and please refrain from hot place of sunshine and moisture.
Please use within the period of 3 months.  

Viscosity or rheology adjustment available by using the specified dilutions for paste. Solvent#F1001.
